Anaya's Story

Hi, my name is Anaya Robinson, and I am a 15-year-old who strives to live each day with grace, determination, and a commitment to personal growth. My priorities are God, my family, education and service, and I aim to carry myself with confidence and integrity in all that I do.

I am honored to be selected as a participant in the 2026 Debutante Cotillion, sponsored by the Marietta-Roswell Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. This experience is a meaningful step in my journey, helping shape me into a well-rounded and purpose-driven young woman.

As part of this opportunity, I am raising funds to support scholarship programs that benefit students in our community. Being able to contribute to something that creates opportunities for others is truly important to me.

My family and I created The Excellence Standard as the foundation of my fundraising efforts. I believe that excellence is not just an act—it’s a standard. It guides my mindset, my work ethic, and how I show up for others each day.

The Excellence Standard

The Excellence Collection was inspired by the values I am being taught and actively practicing during my cotillion journey—discipline, accountability, self-respect, and intentional growth.

For me, excellence means showing up prepared, treating others with respect, and holding myself to high standards even when no one is watching. It represents a commitment to legacy, character, and purpose—principles I carry within school, service, and daily life.

This collection serves as a reminder that excellence is not about perfection, but about consistency, effort, and integrity.

My Cotillion Journey

My cotillion journey represents an important milestone in my development as a young woman. Through this experience, I am learning the importance of etiquette, confidence, accountability, and leadership.

Cotillion has reinforced the values behind the Excellence Collection—carrying oneself with poise, honoring tradition, and striving for excellence in both character and conduct. These lessons are shaping me into a young woman who understands that true excellence begins within.

Community Service & Leadership

Service to others is a meaningful part of my character and personal values. I understand that excellence is also reflected in how we serve and uplift our communities.

Through volunteer opportunities and service initiatives, I have demonstrated compassion, teamwork, and responsibility. Each experience reinforces my belief that excellence includes giving back and leading by example.

Family & Values

I am supported by a loving family that emphasizes faith, education, service, and legacy. These values have helped shape the principles behind the Excellence Collection and continue to guide me as I grow into my purpose.
